This is a call for science teachers and STEM professionals who love science, education, technology, and social impact! 🧪 At Lab4U, we’re building a community of STEM Ambassadors in the United States, people who represent us on the ground, connect with educators, and help bring hands-on science to more classrooms.

What does Lab4U do? 🤔

Our mission is to expand access to quality science education by turning smartphones into laboratory instruments, creating innovative methodologies for science learning, and implementing high-impact educational projects in communities across the United States, and the world.

We’re opening this search with both the short term and the long term in mind:

• Right now (short term): We want to meet you and work side by side at our upcoming U.S. science education events. You’ll join the Lab4U team at our booths, welcoming educators, running hands-on demos, and representing Lab4U on the exhibition floor. This is a per-event collaboration and the best way for us to get to know each other.
• Looking ahead (long term): As Lab4U grows in the United States, so do the opportunities. STEM Ambassadors can go on to help coordinate and deliver Lab4U projects in schools across different states, leading implementations, supporting teachers, and managing activities in the field. Today’s booth collaborator can become tomorrow’s project lead.

You don’t need to commit to the long term to start. Come meet us at an event, the door to bigger opportunities stays open.

What you’ll do (areas of responsibility) 📚

Your role blends two things we value deeply: representing Lab4U at activities and events, and facilitating STEM experiences in the field. Depending on the moment, you might:

• Represent Lab4U at booths, demos, and (later) in schools, always with professionalism, empathy, and energy.
• Facilitate hands-on experiences, guiding educators and attendees through Lab4U’s tools and experiments (turning smartphones into lab instruments).
• Welcome and connect with science educators, administrators, and decision-makers, building genuine relationships and answering their questions.
• Support event logistics, including booth setup and teardown, activity stations, and demo schedules.
• Capture insights, gathering feedback, contacts, and observations, and sharing them with the Lab4U team.
• (Long term) Coordinate and deliver projects in schools: leading implementations, supporting teachers, and managing evidence and impact across states.

Responsibilities can grow over time based on your interest and how you contribute to the team.

Training 🏋️

We keep onboarding light and practical. Before each event you’ll get a short induction (about 2 hours) covering Lab4U’s tools, the activities, and how we work the floor. For those who move into project implementation, we provide additional hands-on training and the ongoing support of our Education team. Stay calm, you’re never on your own.

Who we’re looking for 🤩

We’re looking for dynamic people, ideally with experience in classrooms or the education field, who are passionate about science, technology, and innovation. Someone sociable, proactive, self-directed, organized, and motivated, comfortable working with uncertainty and genuinely oriented toward educators and students.

You should have strong empathy for educators – our everyday heroes of teaching – a passion for improving education equitably, and enthusiasm for science education and edtech.

Requirements 📋

• Based in the United States, with the ability to travel to event cities (and, over time, to schools in different states).
• Background in science or education: a degree in Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or related) and/or experience as a science teacher or in the education field.
• Comfortable with everyday tech: Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, App Store / Google Play.
• Fluent English; Spanish is a plus.
• Available for the event dates listed below.
• Proactive, reliable, and comfortable talking with people all day.
